Question: | Why was I charged $1 when I registered my credit card? |
Answer: | When you register your credit card, we automatically submit a $1 charge for verification purposes. Once the card is verified, the charge is voided. The amount drops off your billing statement as if it never happened. Note that you should have a minimum of $2 available on your account for this verification, as it may run twice if the first attempt is unsuccessful. If the verification charge remains on your statement after 48 hours, please contact our customer service for assistance. |
